ARTIST | GAME DESIGNER | PROFESSIONAL NERD
I create high octane NERDFUEL.
Whether its illustrating nerdspirational artwork for awesome IPs like Warhammer 40k and StarWars, designing a new console or mobile game, creating large interactive spaces at a Disney Theme park, or developing game design tools for younger designers – I’m a nerd at heart and consider myself fortunate to have been involved in the development of games for over 20 years.
An artist in an engineer’s body, my unique blend of advanced technical knowledge and professional creative skills have served me well in the design and development of 40+ published software titles; as well as large and small-scale projects for top entertainment companies like Disney, Nickelodeon, Hasbro, Mattel, THQ and others.
GAME DESIGN. I’ve been privileged to participate in every stage of the game development process. Over the past two decades, I’ve served as a Design Director, lead interactive teams as a consultant for clients such as Disney Imagineering; and developed my specialties in UI/UX, mechanics design and branded content development. I’ve designed games for multiple consoles, PC/Mac platforms and iOS, as well as large scale interactive spaces for Disney theme parks.
GAME ART. As an Artist, I’ve served as an Art Director, produced hundreds of in-game assets and concept art pieces, been honored to serve as a colorist for the comic legend Bob Layton, and as a freelance artist producing CCG/HCG and PnP RPG source book illustrations for cool companies like Fantasy Flight Games.
Like all lifelong nerds, I live for that geeky creativity I waded in as a kid, swam in as young adult and dive in every day as a creative professional…I just make sure to wash up after.
